# School Triage Skill

Use this skill when the user wants to:
- review school email or school app messages
- catch urgent or actionable school items
- maintain a record of forms, deadlines, and school logistics

## Goal

Surface the school information that actually matters.

## High-priority categories

- health and safety notices
- schedule changes
- field trips
- forms and signatures due
- payments due
- supply requests
- theme/spirit days
- performances and special events

## Low-priority categories

- generic newsletters with no action
- duplicate reminders already handled
- broad marketing/community noise unless the family wants it

## Workflow

1. Review incoming school-related messages.
2. Extract only actionable or time-sensitive items.
3. Add durable items to `workspace/resources/school/important-dates.md` or `workspace/resources/school/current-notices.md` (or `resources/school/...` under a deployed `workspace/` copy).
4. Summarize what needs action.

## Rules

- Do not treat every school communication as urgent.
- Prefer a compact summary over forwarding raw text.
- Flag same-day and next-day logistics clearly.
