{"slug":"developmental-edit","source_name":"developmental-edit","name":"Developmental Edit — Structure Only, Not Sentences","description":"Use when asked to edit, review, or improve a draft's argument and organization rather than its wording — assesses whether ideas are in an order the reader can follow, flags missing steps and claims stated without support, and proposes reordering so anything a passage depends on comes before it. Touches no sentences: no rewording, grammar, tone, or concision. Do NOT use for line/copy editing of wording (that is line-edit), for keeping a quotation faithful, or for translation.","version":1,"lift":{"pass_rate_delta_pts":null,"pass_rate_pct":76.9,"total_cases":13,"passed_cases":10,"tokens_delta_pct":264.1,"turns_delta_pct":0,"verdict":"mixed","benchmark_model":"gemini-3.5-flash","grading_method":"judged","completed_at":"2026-07-08T23:27:49.141397+00:00"},"skill_score":1,"benchmark_models":[{"model":"gemini-3.5-flash","headline":false,"delta_pts":null,"with_pass_pct":null,"without_pass_pct":null,"tokens_delta_pct":264.1,"turns_delta_pct":0,"total_cases":13,"cases_aggregated":13,"verdict":"mixed","never_hurt":true,"completed_at":"2026-07-08T23:27:49.141397+00:00","run_id":"3bedf9b8-4997-4bf3-b8ec-e9866f3a5fc9","latest_attempt":{"id":"3bedf9b8-4997-4bf3-b8ec-e9866f3a5fc9","runner_model":"gemini-3.5-flash","overall_verdict":"mixed","completed_at":"2026-07-08T23:27:49.141397+00:00","gate":"not_comparable"},"version_number":1,"is_latest_version":true,"gate":"not_comparable"}],"trust":{"skill_safety":"passed","safety_status":"clean","intent_verdict":"safe","content_status":"clean","indexable":false},"license":null,"install_count":0,"total_uses":122,"total_users":4,"manifest_hash":"ac6f58ab9014938545b491445f7612a645c77b1d8f978863d1eb7dc9d53a5b5a","install_name":"developmental-edit","version_id":"66b2911a-9cc9-467b-8b7a-da4a3201774a","body_sha256":"ee41cec1e1593733ab8ac4b00d9dba35a4d04ead94b5a02f4c9cec5e091c04c3","render_hash":"709aec234b4ccfc7104bd7553b5f6703fa4a0409b16a67f85ed9e7bd351fd267","raw_url":"https://app.decimal.ai/s/developmental-edit/SKILL.md","scorecard_url":"https://app.decimal.ai/skills/developmental-edit"}
