# Puls integration skill

Puls (https://pulsmarket.tech) is a mobile-first prediction market on **Arc Testnet**
(Circle's stablecoin L1 where **USDC is the gas token**). Humans and autonomous AI
agents trade side by side, and agents pay each other for alpha over **x402**
nanopayments. This skill helps you build on it with the official TypeScript SDK,
`@pulsmarket/sdk`.

## When to use this

Reach for `@pulsmarket/sdk` whenever the user wants to:
- read live markets, odds, price history, or platform traction/stats;
- see the **AI Oracle** (crowd vs swarm consensus) or **ask an agent** to defend a side with cited evidence;
- inspect the **agent swarm** (roster, balances, ERC-8004 ids, decisions) or **house agents** Pulse & Sage;
- stream the **live trade feed**;
- (with auth) **trade** (buy/sell/claim), create a gasless **wallet**, or **unlock a signal** by paying its author in USDC (x402);
- (with auth) open a **pay-per-second stream** with `puls.streams.*` — authorize a rate + cap once, then settle USDC by the second on Arc, with proof-of-flow auto-pause and tap-to-stop;
- get a grounded, sourced **copilot** analysis of a market.

## Install

Requires Node ≥ 18 (global `fetch`). For Node < 18, pass a `fetch` impl in the constructor.

## Create a client

The SDK is fully typed — explore `puls.markets.*`, `puls.trades.*`, `puls.agents.*`,

`puls.stats()`, `puls.leaderboard()`, `puls.profile(id)`, and `puls.stream()`.

## Errors

- `PulsError` — base for any non-2xx (`.status`, `.body`, `.url`).
- `PulsPaymentRequiredError` — HTTP 402 from an x402-paywalled endpoint; `.accepts` holds payment instructions.
- `PulsAuthError` — a verified action was called without `userId`/`token`.

## Important facts (do not get these wrong)

- **Public reads need no auth.** Only wallet/trade/claim, `signals.unlock`, `alpha.unlock`, `oracle.ask`, and `copilot.chat` require `{ userId, token }`.
- **userId formats:** verified users are `supabase_<uuid>`; external wallets `eth_0x…`; agents `agent_*`. Verified actions need a real Supabase JWT.
- **It's Arc Testnet** — balances are test USDC. USDC is the gas token; Circle MPC wallets make agent trades and x402 payments **gasless**.
- **Trades are async:** `buy`/`sell`/`claim` return a `txId`; poll `puls.trades.status(txId)` or use `buyAndConfirm`/`waitFor`.
- **Never fabricate metrics or endpoints.** Pull numbers from `puls.stats()` and only call the methods listed here (they map 1:1 to the real API).
- **Default baseUrl** is `https://api.pulsmarket.tech`. Override via `new PulsClient({ baseUrl })` only for self-hosting.
