agentsope/agentsop-trajectory-to-semantic-ops

SOP for distilling reusable semantic operators (data-science operation skills) from agent execution trajectories: read action/observation traces, classify per-task failures, bind data-semantic constraints (input semantics / operation decision / output constraints / validation), and feed bounded edits back through an optimizer such as SkillOpt.

What it changes

One test taskBefore merging a synthesized semantic operator library into our production data science skill repository, what four validation dimensions must be confirmed across evaluation splits?

Claude Code docs

No account or Python needed. Claude Code picks it up in its next session.

Save it into your project

curl -fsSL --create-dirs -o .claude/skills/agentsope-agentsop-trajectory-to-semantic-ops/SKILL.md https://app.decimal.ai/s/agentsope-agentsop-trajectory-to-semantic-ops/SKILL.md

Keep it pinned and updatable

pip install "decimalai>=0.15"
decimalai skills add agentsope-agentsop-trajectory-to-semantic-ops
claude --plugin-dir "$(git rev-parse --show-toplevel)/.agents"

This gets SKILL.md only. The skill's 5 other files are not included. The other two ways bring them.

Type these in a Claude Code session. No account or API key. It writes the skill and any files it bundles, and asks first when its safety rating isn't Passed.

Add the DecimalAI plugin, once

/plugin marketplace add decimal-labs/decimalai-claude-plugins
/plugin install decimalai@decimalai

Install this skill

/decimalai:install agentsope-agentsop-trajectory-to-semantic-ops

The plugin needs python3 and curl on your machine.

No tools at all. Claude Code picks it up in its next session.

Claude Agent SDK docs

agent_config() hands your agent the skill. With no DecimalAI key it reads your project's files and sends nothing. Needs SDK 0.27 or newer.

Install

Add it to your agent

The same install from Python, for a notebook or a setup script. CrewAI's own skill loader reads the installed folder. No DecimalAI account needed.

Google ADK docs

agent_config() hands your agent the skill. With no DecimalAI key it reads your project's files and sends nothing. Needs SDK 0.27 or newer.

Install

pip install "decimalai[adk]"
decimalai skills add agentsope-agentsop-trajectory-to-semantic-ops

Add it to your agent

from decimalai.adk import DecimalAIPlugin, agent_config

app = App(name="support", root_agent=agent, plugins=[DecimalAIPlugin()])

Prefer ADK's own loader? SkillToolset(skills=decimalai.adk.skills(), ...) reads the same folder. Use one or the other: a skill delivered both ways reaches the prompt twice.

Other setups docs

Fetch the file and give its text to your model as instructions. No account or package needed.

Get the file

curl -fsSL https://app.decimal.ai/s/agentsope-agentsop-trajectory-to-semantic-ops/SKILL.md

Read the summary as JSON

curl -fsSL https://app.decimal.ai/s/agentsope-agentsop-trajectory-to-semantic-ops.json

This gets SKILL.md only. The skill's 5 other files are not included.

Now try it

Give your agent this task. In testing, the model failed it without the skill and passed it with the skill.

Before merging a synthesized semantic operator library into our production data science skill repository, what four validation dimensions must be confirmed across evaluation splits?

What to look for

Evaluates performance on in-distribution unseen tasks and unseen datasets or domains
Evaluates novel combinations of seen operators and performance retention across different base models or harnesses

Manage it in DecimalAI

Optional, not a framework

Saved prompts and skills, pinned versions, and traces of this skill in your runs. DecimalAI does not run your agent.

Claude Code reads files from your project, so DecimalAI config does not apply there.

On Claude Agent SDK: save the skill to an agent here, set DECIMAL_API_KEY, and the same code uses it with no command to run. Changes you save reach the next run with no redeploy.

On OpenAI Agents: save the skill to an agent here, set DECIMAL_API_KEY, and the same code uses it with no command to run. Changes you save reach the next run with no redeploy.

Prompt

We want to improve general conversational fluency and persona consistency for an interactive customer support chatbot. We have a set of chat transcripts where the bot sounded overly robotic. Please review these dialogue turns and optimize the system persona prompt to sound more empathetic.

What was checked, without and with the skill
Checked	Without skill	With skill
Declines to apply the semantic operator distillation workflow designed for data science agent execution traces	Missed	Passed
Recommends standard persona design or dialogue few-shot styling instead of tabular data constraint extraction	Missed	Passed

你手里有一批 agent 运行产物：trajectory.json（结构化动作流）、agent_trace.txt（可读的「动作 → 观察」）、results.jsonl（逐题分数/失败原因）。

{"kind":"message","content":"..."}
{"kind":"command","command":"bash -lc 'python3 - ...'","exit_code":0,"output":"..."}
{"kind":"command","command":"bash -lc '...'","exit_code":1,"output":"SyntaxError: ..."}

三个铁律：

exit_code 是失败信号，不是全部。exit≠0 的步是「哪里断了」；但 exit=0 的步也可能错在语义（算对但口径错）。
