WP Project Triage

aiskillstore/wp-project-triage

Use when you need a deterministic inspection of a WordPress repository (plugin/theme/block theme/WP core/Gutenberg/full site) including tooling/tests/version hints, and a structured JSON report to guide workflows and guardrails.

What it changes

One test taskWhat single environment input must be provided to successfully perform a WordPress repository triage scan?

Without the skillMissed

With the skillPassed

Same model, same task. Answers are capped and redacted.

Passed 20 of 23 test cases with the skill, and 12 of 23 without it.

Without skill52%

With skill87%

Checks it passed that the model alone missed: 8

The response recommends re-running the project detection script.
The response identifies tooling as the JSON key for installed tools.
The response identifies the repository root directory as the required input.

Your framework

Claude Code docs

No account or Python needed. Claude Code picks it up in its next session.

Save it into your project

curl -fsSL --create-dirs -o .claude/skills/aiskillstore-wp-project-triage/SKILL.md https://app.decimal.ai/s/aiskillstore-wp-project-triage/SKILL.md

Keep it pinned and updatable

pip install "decimalai>=0.15"
decimalai skills add aiskillstore-wp-project-triage
claude --plugin-dir "$(git rev-parse --show-toplevel)/.agents"

This gets SKILL.md only. The skill's 2 other files are not included. The other two ways bring them.

Type these in a Claude Code session. No account or API key. It writes the skill and any files it bundles, and asks first when its safety rating isn't Passed.

Add the DecimalAI plugin, once

/plugin marketplace add decimal-labs/decimalai-claude-plugins
/plugin install decimalai@decimalai

Install this skill

/decimalai:install aiskillstore-wp-project-triage

The plugin needs python3 and curl on your machine.

No tools at all. Claude Code picks it up in its next session.

Copy SKILL.md

Save it in your project, as

.claude/skills/aiskillstore-wp-project-triage/SKILL.md

This gets SKILL.md only. The skill's 2 other files are not included.

Claude Agent SDK docs

agent_config() hands your agent the skill. With no DecimalAI key it reads your project's files and sends nothing. Needs SDK 0.27 or newer.

Install

pip install "decimalai[claude-agent-sdk]"
decimalai skills add aiskillstore-wp-project-triage

Add it to your agent

import asyncio

from claude_agent_sdk import ClaudeAgentOptions

            print(message)

# In a notebook or async code: await main()
asyncio.run(main())

Prefer its own loader? ClaudeAgentOptions(plugins=[skills_plugin()], skills="all") reads the same folder. Use one or the other: a skill delivered both ways reaches the prompt twice.

The same install from Python, for a notebook or a setup script. agent_config() hands your agent the skill. With no DecimalAI key it reads your project's files and sends nothing. Needs SDK 0.27 or newer.

Install

No DecimalAI package. The whole skill goes in every prompt, and nothing pins or updates it.

Keep it pinned and updatable

No tools at all. Cursor, Copilot, Cline and Warp read this folder by themselves.

Copy SKILL.md

Save it in your project, as

Other setups docs

Fetch the file and give its text to your model as instructions. No account or package needed.

Get the file

curl -fsSL https://app.decimal.ai/s/aiskillstore-wp-project-triage/SKILL.md

Read the summary as JSON

curl -fsSL https://app.decimal.ai/s/aiskillstore-wp-project-triage.json

This gets SKILL.md only. The skill's 2 other files are not included.

Now try it

Give your agent this task. In testing, the model failed it without the skill and passed it with the skill.

What single environment input must be provided to successfully perform a WordPress repository triage scan?

What to look for

The response identifies the repository root directory as the required input.

Optional, not a framework

Saved prompts and skills, pinned versions, and traces of this skill in your runs. DecimalAI does not run your agent.

Claude Code reads files from your project, so DecimalAI config does not apply there.

On Claude Agent SDK: save the skill to an agent here, set DECIMAL_API_KEY, and the same code uses it with no command to run. Changes you save reach the next run with no redeploy.

On OpenAI Agents: save the skill to an agent here, set DECIMAL_API_KEY, and the same code uses it with no command to run. Changes you save reach the next run with no redeploy.

On OpenAI SDK: save the skill to an agent here, set DECIMAL_API_KEY, and the same code uses it with no command to run. Changes you save reach the next run with no redeploy.

On LangChain: save the skill to an agent here, set DECIMAL_API_KEY, and the same code uses it with no command to run. Changes you save reach the next run with no redeploy.

On CrewAI: set DECIMAL_API_KEY and add decimalai.init(crewai=True) to record runs and skill use. The skill version stays in your repo.

On Google ADK: save the skill to an agent here, set DECIMAL_API_KEY, and the same code uses it with no command to run. Changes you save reach the next run with no redeploy.

On Deep Agents: set DECIMAL_API_KEY and add decimalai.init(langchain=True) to record runs and skill use. The skill version stays in your repo.

On Microsoft Agent Framework: set DECIMAL_API_KEY and add decimalai.init(otel=True, agent_name="support") to record runs and skill use. The skill version stays in your repo.

WP Project Triage

When to use

Use this skill to quickly understand what kind of WordPress repo you’re in and what commands/conventions to follow before making changes.

Inputs required

Repo root (current working directory).

Procedure

Run the detector (prints JSON to stdout):
- node skills/wp-project-triage/scripts/detect_wp_project.mjs
If you need the exact output contract, read:
- skills/wp-project-triage/references/triage.schema.json
Use the report to select workflow guardrails:
- project kind(s)
- PHP/Node tooling present
- tests present
- version hints and sources
If the report is missing signals you need, update the detector rather than guessing.

Verification

The JSON should parse and include: project.kind, signals, and tooling.
Re-run after changes that affect structure/tooling (adding theme.json, block.json, build config).

Failure modes / debugging

If it reports unknown, check whether the repo root is correct.
If scanning is slow, add/extend ignore directories in the script.
