The instructions your model reads when the skill loads.
Tailor project-management practices to the project's uncertainty, delivery model, risk, governance, and organizational context. Do not impose every artifact or process on every project.
Clarify the intended outcome, sponsor, decision authority, stakeholders, scope boundaries, constraints, delivery approach, regulatory needs, funding, timeline, and definition of success. Distinguish project work with a defined change outcome from ongoing product or operational work.
Choose predictive, adaptive, or hybrid practices based on requirement stability, feedback speed, technical uncertainty, dependencies, contracting, and governance. Document why the selected controls are proportionate.
Use only the artifacts that improve coordination or decisions, such as:
Decompose outcomes into deliverables and verifiable work. Estimate with ranges and record confidence, dependencies, and assumptions. Establish baselines only where variance must be controlled; avoid pretending uncertain discovery work is deterministic.
For each material risk record cause, event, impact, likelihood, exposure, owner, response, trigger, and residual risk. Separate risks from active issues. Evaluate change requests for value, scope, schedule, cost, quality, risk, resources, and stakeholder impact before approval by the appropriate owner.
Report outcomes and forecast, not activity theater. Track the smallest useful set of indicators: milestone confidence, flow or schedule, cost where relevant, quality, risk exposure, decisions, dependencies, and benefit signals. Escalate with options and impact rather than raw status.
Analyze influence, impact, interest, information needs, and desired engagement. Tailor communication cadence and detail. Do not treat the stakeholder matrix as permission to manipulate or conceal information.
