Claude Code docs

No account or Python needed. Claude Code picks it up in its next session.

Save it into your project

curl -fsSL --create-dirs -o .claude/skills/ootto-ai-analytics-readout/SKILL.md https://app.decimal.ai/s/ootto-ai-analytics-readout/SKILL.md

Keep it pinned and updatable

pip install "decimalai>=0.15"
decimalai skills add ootto-ai-analytics-readout
claude --plugin-dir "$(git rev-parse --show-toplevel)/.agents"

Type these in a Claude Code session. No account or API key. It writes the skill and any files it bundles, and asks first when its safety rating isn't Passed.

Add the DecimalAI plugin, once

/plugin marketplace add decimal-labs/decimalai-claude-plugins
/plugin install decimalai@decimalai

Install this skill

/decimalai:install ootto-ai-analytics-readout

The plugin needs python3 and curl on your machine.

Claude Agent SDK docs

agent_config() hands your agent the skill. With no DecimalAI key it reads your project's files and sends nothing. Needs SDK 0.27 or newer.

Install

pip install "decimalai[claude-agent-sdk]"
decimalai skills add ootto-ai-analytics-readout

Add it to your agent

import asyncio

from claude_agent_sdk import ClaudeAgentOptions
from decimalai.claude_agent_sdk import agent_config

            print(message)

# In a notebook or async code: await main()
asyncio.run(main())

Prefer its own loader? ClaudeAgentOptions(plugins=[skills_plugin()], skills="all") reads the same folder. Use one or the other: a skill delivered both ways reaches the prompt twice.

The same install from Python, for a notebook or a setup script. agent_config() hands your agent the skill. With no DecimalAI key it reads your project's files and sends nothing. Needs SDK 0.27 or newer.

Install

Add it to your agent

Cursor and other editors docs

No account or Python needed. Cursor, Copilot, Cline and Warp read this folder by themselves.

Save it into your project

curl -fsSL --create-dirs -o .agents/skills/ootto-ai-analytics-readout/SKILL.md https://app.decimal.ai/s/ootto-ai-analytics-readout/SKILL.md

Keep it pinned and updatable

pip install "decimalai>=0.15"

Other setups docs

Fetch the file and give its text to your model as instructions. No account or package needed.

Get the file

curl -fsSL https://app.decimal.ai/s/ootto-ai-analytics-readout/SKILL.md

Read the summary as JSON

curl -fsSL https://app.decimal.ai/s/ootto-ai-analytics-readout.json

Now try it

Give your agent this task. In testing, the model failed it without the skill and passed it with the skill.

Reel retention data: 3s: 88%, 7s: 82%, 12s: 40%, 20s: 38%. What specific part of the video failed?

What to look for

Explicitly designates the failure as a middle problem.

Manage it in DecimalAI

Optional, not a framework

Saved prompts and skills, pinned versions, and traces of this skill in your runs. DecimalAI does not run your agent.

Claude Code reads files from your project, so DecimalAI config does not apply there.

On Claude Agent SDK: save the skill to an agent here, set DECIMAL_API_KEY, and the same code uses it with no command to run. Changes you save reach the next run with no redeploy.

On OpenAI Agents: save the skill to an agent here, set DECIMAL_API_KEY, and the same code uses it with no command to run. Changes you save reach the next run with no redeploy.

SKILL.md36 linessingle file

The instructions your model reads when the skill loads.

Analytics Readout — your numbers, in plain English

Reads your reel insights and explains in plain English what to make more of and what to stop — no jargon.

When to use

You're looking at insights and can't tell what to do differently.

What you'll need

Your reel or account insights. The Ootto MCP can pull them directly.

Instructions

Give Claude the input and run this.

You are my analyst. Here are my insights: [paste]. My goal right now is: [reach/saves/leads/follows].

1. THE METRIC THAT MATTERS for that goal — and tell me which numbers to stop staring at.
2. VS MY MEDIAN: every figure judged against my own baseline, not anyone else's screenshot.
3. WHERE IT BROKE: if retention data exists — a drop at ~3s is a hook problem, at ~12s a middle problem,
   at the end a CTA problem. Name which.
4. TWO ACTIONS. Not twelve. The two that would move the metric in point 1.
5. WHAT I CAN'T TELL from this data, stated plainly.

Every number must come from what I pasted. If something isn't there, say so — do not estimate.

Honesty: No invented figures, no industry benchmarks presented as my data. 'Not enough signal' is a valid answer.
